Britax Decathlon: A Consumer Review
The Britax Decathlon is one of the four Britax car seat models equipped with Side Impact Protection, which provides more safety for babies in the event of impact. It is another premium model product, like the highly popular Britax Marathon.
The key features of the Britax Decathlon are the following:

The Britax Decathlon is similar to another popular product, the Britax Boulevard. There are significant differences, however. The Decathlon has a 3-position crotch strap, which cannot be found on the Britax Boulevard. The Boulevard can be distinguished by its additional wings in the headrest for additional support and its no-thread harness adjustor.
Certified for air travel, the Britax Decathlon can accommodate a child weighing 35 lbs or less, in the rear-facing position. It can hold a child weighing 65 pounds or less for the front-facing position.
The standout features of the Decathlon include the crotch strap, which can be adjusted in three positions. This will prove beneficial for the child especially when he starts to grow, because the harness will give him more room in the lower portion. Parents will never have to worry about the infant seat falling off the passenger or back seat. The Britax Decathlon’s LATCH system anchors the top portion of the car seat, which secures the child firmly into the car.
